An Amusing Anecdote from Italy!

This is true story. When I am sent on press trips all over the world, I meet a lot of a very interesting characters to say the least.
Not so long ago, I was on a press trip in a remote part of Italy. We were in a very nice winery owned by a millionaire shipping tycoon and his beautiful wife. This lady from New York who claimed to be some great wine expert went up to the winemaker and asked him in a very strong new York accent, "So, excuse me, but how many vintages do you make in a year?" The other journalists and myself burst out laughing. It had already been clear to us for some time that her wine knowledge was very poor. The shocked and flabbergasted winemaker replied holding his forefinger in the air, "One, Signora, only ONE!" It is one episode I will never ever forget, Ha! Ha!
