I recommend this hotel for:  An amazing honeymoon, A
romantic getaway, Girlfriend getaway, People with
disabilities, Older travelers, Families with young
children, Families with teenagers, Tourists

I do not recommend this hotel for:  Young singles

I selected this hotel because …  Museums / Cultural
/ Historical sites, Great food / Wine, Shopping

Traveling group: Solo traveler
My visit was for: Business

MAYBE it is the location, maybe it is the courteous,
friendly and professional staff, maybe it is the good
food you enjoy in the hotel’s restaurant….whatever
it is, this is one of the best hotels I have ever
stayed in. As Dr. Michael Lim, The Travelling Gourmet,
I travel to taste good food and to hunt for super
wines all over the world, so I know a good hotel when
I stay in one. The ever friendly and helpful doorman
from the Philippines greets you with a genuine smile
that comes from the heart. The Concierge will arrange
sightseeing trips for you at the drop of a hat. Rooms
are nice and comfy too, with soft pillows just made
for a peaceful and happy slumber. I woke refreshed and
energised every morning to jog all over the nice and
safe neighbourhood. Only a short walk to the subway
station or to the Hofburg and Sissi Museum, no wastage
of travel time when you base yourself here. There is
also a nice Wurstel Stand for mouthwatering
Kasekrainer (sausage with cheese inside) nearby. Wien
as the locals call it, is a magical city, a place of
history, charm, excellent food and superb wines like
St. Laurent and Blaufrankisch. I discover something
new and wonderful everytime I come here. The mystique
so lovingly captured in that 1949 Oscar winning movie,
The Third Man or ,,Der dritte Mann" is always here in
Vienna…and in the Hilton Vienna Plaza. Enjoy! {:-)

Wien was the capital of the great Austro-Hungarian Empire. A great city of colour, culture, cuisine, charm and character.

Ich liebe Wien!
