MY friend Chef Angelo is the Chef at Basilico’s Italian Ristorante and I am always happy to dine here. One reson is because he always makes somethign special for me. Recently, he made a super tasty, intoxicatingly good Pizza with a creamy, luscious filling plus thin medallions of Tartufo Bianco for me. Tartufo Bianco is white truffle from Alba which can cost wholesale upwards of S$2500 per kg! The Antipasto buffet here is the best thing to enjoy and it will definitely fill you up. From special Italian Cheeses to Octopus Salad and the real deal Proscuitto di Parma with Cantaloupe. I adore the salads with Truffle Oil dressing! Also don’t forget the Fig Salami with the Goat Cheese – a lovely match! For Dolce – Dessert: Rum Baba and Ciocciolato Gelato are also fabulous!
