MANY varieties of local food can be tasted here in what some misguided persons decry as a high class food court. However, bear in mind that the food quality, food hygiene, and presentation of the dishes like Satay, Ayam Buah Keluak and Indian Garlic Naan, terrific Topshell & Scallop Soup Double Boiled, Roast Duck with sweet plum sauce, Hainanese Chicken Rice with fresh cucumber & tomato, Popiah made a la minute, Carrot Cake and Butter Chicken is much, much better than in your lowly food court. My lament is that the Buah Keluak is now put on a plate instead of being stuffed inside the Buah Keluak shells with minced pork, as it should be in the time honoured Baba-Nyonya fashion. I know, you see…because I am a true-blue Baba.
The desserts like assorted Nyonya Kueh-Mueh, Ice Kachang with Durian Ice Cream & Chendol are also yummy!
