MOSTLY patronised by persons with no taste or appreciation of true Chinese regional cuisine. The Opium Den is run by a motley crew of Chinese from the People’s Republic of China who are rude, mercenary, money grabbing malcontents that cannot speak HM The Queen’s English. When I am in Europe I NEVER eat Asian food, only European food. Read on please…and you will understand why. According to a highly reliable source,  namely ‘The Terrific Gourmet’, they dump lots of ‘Napalm’ Chilli oil into every dish, especially the Kung Po Chicken and Mala Tang! Actually, the only safe thing to eat is the Chye Por egg omelette. Presentation and garnishing of the dishes is poor. Only opium addicts, misguided moronic masochists and PRC kommunistische Schweine can stomach this ‘food’.

With a name like the Opium Den…in all honesty what do you expect??? Avoid this place if you value your taste buds…and your health…
