DON’T buy Hewlett Packard products ever!

The implacable and indomitable Travelling GourmetTM tells you of the trials and tribulations with his trusty Hewlette Packard laptop computer which is now totally INOPERATIVE>>>>

MY HP laptop which I liked very much was only 5 years old when it broke down completely although I took very good care of it. It was pampered with its own special protective padded case and I never ever dropped it, not even once…I am a world renowned Travel, Food and Wine Writer so I took it with me all over the world so I could write my features stories in ‘reall time’. I would sit in a restaurant by the River Seine in Paris or New York or in the famous Hotel Sacher in vibrant Vienna…and write my articles while tasting the food and wine…or touring the castles or museums.

Hewlett Packard wanted to THROW away my laptop!!!

I brought my laptop to HP. HP Service Center told me that it cannot be repaired because there are NO spare parts after only 5 years!!! I said to the HP staff that I would collect it to try and salvage the data. HP said ok…and then started sending me threatening letters by REGISTERED post saying: if you do not collect it by such and such a date (which HP arbitrarily specified) we will throw your HP computer away! I WAS VERY ANGRY TO RECEIVE THE REGISTERED LETTER! Especially as I had to go to the Post Office to collect it as the postman failed to deliver on his 1st attempt. I am very, very busy and I have many things to do, and my work involves TRAVELLING THE WORLD TO WRITE ABOUT FOOD AND WINE AND SIGHTS LIKE CASTLES AND MUSEUMS, famous sights,wineries, unusual sights like the Schluessel Brucke in Koeln, Germany, ETC. Time is an extremely precious commodity which I have to manage very well. Due to this, I told HP that I wouldl come to collect my HP (which they CANNOT repair) when I have the time. DESPITE THIS THEY SENT ME THIS THREATENING LETTER BY REGISTERED POST!!!!! VERY BAD!!!!! Ich wird zoerning!!! Bloeder! Schwachsinniger! Bloeder Kuh!

I will never buy HP computers ever again. Dear reader, I advise you respectfully, if you read this, to NEVER buy HP products.
