MOUTH-WATERING fresh and dried Cranberries!

The first thing you notice is that the dried Cranberries are much smaller. No wonder as the water has gone! The fresh Cranberries are much larger and have a very pleasing shocking scarlet colour when fully ripe! Taste-wise…the dried ones are much, much sweeter, even when compared with Craisins, which are dried Cranberries processed without added sugar. The fresh ones are sour , tangy, zesty and really make your mouth water…also they are more crunchy. The dried Cranberries have a more sticky and chewy mouth-feel, unlike the fresh ones which crunch like biting into an apple.

Now my next plan is to make Cranberry Crumble with fresh Cranberries! I made my Wild Organic Banana and Cointreau Cake with Dried Cranberries just a short while ago. Excellent matched with Cointreau or Grand Marnier liquer… It was triple Yummie!

ENJOY! Life is short, work very hard, live very well!!
