The audacious and inspiring Travelling Gourmet TM finds very think-out-of-the-box Burgers in a…
MOST unusual four storey combo of burger joint and two bars! The heritage building was built in 1939 and the concept is Potato Head. What a name I thought! I climbed twenty steps to the second floor to Three Buns and a warm welcome by Chef Adam Penney. Married to an Indian Singaporean wife, cheerful Chef Adam comes from West London. We sat down to chat before tasting his creations and he told me a most amusing story which really made me laugh! “When I was very young and didn’t even know how to hold a knife properly, I worked for one day with Gordon Ramsay…before he threw me out with many curses and swear words! He’s crazy!” I must add that I am no fan of Gordon Ramsay. My good friends, many of whom are 3 Michelin Star Chefs say that Gordon gives Chefs a bad name.
