Jime Essink explained candidly, “The size! We are already fully booked this year at two venues, Suntec and Expo. FHA is a leading exhibition and food is a growing industry in Asia! In 2020 FHA will expand into two dedicated shows. FHA-HoReCa will be held on 3-6 March 2020. Ho-Re-Ca stands for Hotel, Restaurant, Cafe. FHA- Food and Beverage on 31 March – 3 April 2020.”
Hans Werner Reinhard, MD of Messe Duesseldorf Group remarked, ” In the global drinks market, the wine segment is the third largest and worldwide revenue of wine is expected to reach USD172 billion by 2021. However, global attention is shifting to Asia. In 2016, wine sales in Asia amounted to USD93.3 billion or 6.1 billion litres and through to 2021, it is forecast to grow 3.9% per annum in volume terms.”
