The suave and sophisticated Travelling Gourmet TM tells you about MR. Fortnum and…
MASON, Esquire…whose world renowned deapartment store is where H. M. The Queen does her shopping for the Royal Household. OMG! Yummie! I absolutely adore Fortnum & Mason’s for the Cheeses, Game PIes, Chocolates, Wines, Jams, Paddinton Bear’s Marmalade and lots, lots MORE!!!! Restaurants, Menswear and other goodies abound. Tons better tha harrods, the haunt of the culture-less, spiritually bankrupt nouveau riche! Wahahahah! 🙂 Not to mention, but I will mention it anyway, now owned by vile state sponsor of radical islamic terrorism…queer qatar.
This month, Fortnum’s will introduce delicious new additions from Highgrove in beautiful new packaging. This fresh look is inspired by the magnificent gardens and grounds of HRH The Prince of Wales’ home in Gloucestershire and has touches of botanical motifs. Alongside brand-new products across tea, coffee and confectionery, many of the recipes in the Highgrove collection have been reworked with exemplary new ingredients. Following a long relationship between the two brands, based on shared principles of providing the finest foods created by artisanal producers, Fortnum & Mason is delighted to unveil this new range that elegantly unites iconic provenance with craftmanship.
Among the new additions is the Organic Garden Berry Tea, with a sunshine-bright infusion of sweet, ripe berries that embodies the gardens, as well as an elegant, medium roast Organic Coffee Blend with tasting notes of chocolate and dried fruits. Newness in sweets includes a sublime new salted caramel fudge, crafted in Cornwall by a family-run confectioner, and Almonds, Hazelnuts and Ginger, all covered in delicious organic chocolate. These moreish treats are perfect for after-dinner or make for a delicious gift.
Highgrove ‘haute delights’ !
In over 35 years since HRH The Prince of Wales has lived at Highgrove, the land has flourished producing the very finest organic food. In addition to the new design illustrating this, the rework of the packaging also considers sustainability – one of the brand’s key focuses. All single use and non-recyclable plastic has been removed and teabags will be made from Soylon – a compostable corn-starch material. All labels will be paper backed with no plastic used and, in the new year, all compostable flow wraps will cover biscuits.
Fortnum’s has also worked with Highgrove to create a vintage organic champagne to celebrate the landmark 70thbirthday of HRH The Prince of Wales.
Alongside these new products, Highgrove’s refreshed collection brings customers the quality and provenance they have grown to expect from the brand across organic preserves, biscuits, confectionery and alcohol, all made by small artisanal producers.
New products will debut exclusively in all Fortnum & Mason stores and on www.fortnumandmason.comon 22nd October 2018, in addition to Highgrove stores. The full list of products is available on request.
I respect HRH The Prince of Wales. He was very dashing in his youth…alas the time after that his life became somewhat…
