MYSterious MYANMAR!

Story and photos by Dr. Michael Lim The Travelling Gourmet TM

The suave and sophisticated Travelling Gourmet TM jets to the…

MYSTICAL land of Pagodas…where the kind and warm people of Myanmar welcome visitors with genuine smiles and helpful tips…

I arrived to expect a run down third world airport…only to be very pleasantly suprised by an ultra-modern airport that reminded me of Bangkok’s International Airport. Much better than “tres terrible” Charles de Gaulle aeroporte in Paris! I often think that De Gaulle would weep turning over in his grave to see CDG! C’est la vie n’est pas mes amis…

My base was the spanking new Pan Pacific YANGON connected in true Singapore style to a pristine and chic shopping mall, called Junction City. Just one year old, the Pan Pacific Yangon is luxurious and very welcomng with lovely restaurants!

Exclusive interview with Mr. William Lau, the helpful GM of the Pan Pacific Yangon 🙂

To be continued…

Please stay tuned loyal readers and friends…
