The resourceful and remarkable Travelling Gourmet TM goes in search of Roots aka “racines” in French. Ou e mes amis? (In French: where, my friends?) The answer is in the…

MOSTconveniently located Sofitel Singapore City Centre, Wallich Street…

Ravishing RACINES!

As Dr. Michael Lim The Travelling GOurmet TM, international Travel, Food and Wine Writer/Editor/Blogger/Vlogger/International Wine Judge, I know good food when I see, smell and savor it! Ravishing Racines (Racines means Roots in French) is one of my most favourite places for good food, to watch the sunrise and sunset and to chill out with good friends…Bear in mind that “Roots” here do not refer to the dirty, soil-encrusted roots of weeds, BUT the beautiful fruits, vegetables and flowers/fleurs and herbs that GROW from the dirty roots underground, verstehen sie! OK, so I am not known for being politically correct, capisch…WTH! French or Asian Kitchen the choice is yours to make! I like all! Have dishes from both kitchens for a melage of flavours and tastes Chef Edwin Seow is good! The Bread basket is superbe with Ciabatta, Baguette (what else?), Rye Brot, Olive Bread and more, all FRESHLYS baked daily…NO cancer causing palm oil margarine but the REAL deal…The Pastry Chef uses a very special BUTTER from France (where else) plus premium Extra Virgin Olive OIL and Balsamico di Modena from Italia (Si, where else mi amici?) Enjoy their sexy and voluptuous Grand Marnier Souffle and then sing “Je ne regrette rien!” 🙂 https://youtu.be/fZhSbhd9GKU
