The adventurous and debonair Travelling Gourmet TM goes to taste Korean style Chicken and Burgers at…
MOM’S Touch Chicken and Burger! Arguably, South Korea’s most famous, the very first Mom’s Touch in Singapore opened on 30 August 2019, which is the first day of the auspicious 8th Lunar Month in Paya Lebar Quarter. The new shopping mall Paya Lebar Quarter is located next to Paya Lebar MRT station.
A huge crowd meant I had to wait over NINETY minutes to try the sexy signature Mom’s Spicy Thigh Burger! Crunchy outside and juicy and moist inside. The Korean sauce is only mildly spicy…with crisp lettuce and tangy pickle. Yummie!
The fried Chicken is also tasty and not overly salty. The natural flavours of the chicken is not overwhelmed by the seasoning ingredients. All hand breaded and hand battered and cooked to order. Healthy corn niblets is served with Emborg butter which is a plus point. There are Cajun Fries too. In South Korea since 2004, there are now 1,187 outlets! Although the logo says “New Orleans Style”, this is typically Korean!
