DEBUT FOR MIXOLOGY.

At Veronafiere 17-19 October in conjunction with wine2wine, Enolitech and Sol&Agrifood in Verona, Italy

The Special Edition of Vinitaly, scheduled 17-19 October at Veronafiere, is entirely dedicated to the wine market. The event has an exclusively business-oriented format, with content and events for professional Italian and international operators in production, sales, distribution and communication areas of the wine sector. Inasmuch, this is a “special” edition for organizing agendas in readiness for 2022 and stimulating recovery in the sector thanks not the least to strategic incoming activity implemented with the Ice Trade Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, alongside Veronafiere’s own international network, to select buyers from France and Germany specializing in organic products.

In addition to Vinitaly b2b meetings with operators from the main outlet countries and large-scale retailers, the special edition also includes meetings organized in collaboration with Fipe Confcommercio and Vinarius, the association of Italian wine stores. New items include the Mixology demo and workshop area and the Vinitaly Buyers Club, with innovative services and discounts for members of the community. All the more, the event attended in person in total safety in the Verona Exhibition Centre is joined by Vinitaly Plus, the platform in 10 languages always on-line allowing consultation of fact files detailing wines, companies and events, as well as direct chat with producers. It is also possible to make appointments and take part in the Special Edition’s on-line events and master classes. The digital tools provided by Vinitaly Plus include the related app essential for scanning entrance tickets but also useful for swapping information in contactless mode and via QR codes. Lastly, the geo-referential functions of the Vinitaly Plus app will help visitors find their way around the stands, as well as checking crowding levels in exhibition areas.

The Vinitaly Special Edition also hosts tastings, starting with Tasting Ex… Press conducted by the international trade press and an area dedicated to organic wines with a daily calendar of three tastings.

The programme is completed by the content and analysis of the wine2wine Business Forum (18-19 October): the format developed by Veronafiere-Vinitaly for training, information and networking of wine companies. There are also Special Editions for Enolitech and Sol&Agrifood  – again 17-19 October – the trade shows that traditionally flank the international wine and spirits exhibition
