ALL ‘Likes” are REAL and ARE NOT FAKE ‘Likes’ bought in blocks of 3000 like some pathetic persons who give bloggers a bad name…those in the know, know who we are referring too an there is more than one capisch!
The mischievious and macchiavellian Travelling Gourmet TM was in the outstanding chill-out wine bar and ‘makan place’ extraordinaire when he was…
MOST flabbergasted by a tall chicom man with wife and two children ( I sometimes refuse to use ‘kids’ which are actually the term for baby goats…just for the Hell of it!). He said loudly to my friend the Chef at the open hot cooking station, “beef too raw..no cook enough.” The young bespectacled Chef, used to such gastronomic IGNORAMUS types, asked him nicely what ‘doneness’ he wanted so he could make him another beef tenderloin, The moron replied, “medium rare..” WAHAHAHAH! My eyes popped out googly-like! To be brutally frank which is not my usual style, “Everyone can eat gourmet food BUT NOT everyone should eat gourmet food.” Gastronomically challenged cretins PLEASE stick to Fried Rice and Mee Goreng ok!
What more can we do…
The true story continues…his mousy wife clearly stressed by the two little boys like monkeys went to complain to the Chef, “Beef OVERCOOKED!” What the Hell! Goondooism at its FINEST!!! 🙂
What more, what more can we do???
Gastro-goondoos!
Chefs who are experienced in dealing with such diners know how to take these gastro-goondoos like water off a duck’s back! Hell, they are paying premium $$$$ so just humor them, n’est pas Wahahahah! I had to discreetly warn my friends in 10 Scotts of the Grand Hyatt about the gang of four…I have friends in very high and very low places…
Terrific 10 Scotts!
The fabulous food and winsome wines in 10 Scotts of the Grand Hyatt speaks for themselves. Consistent, delicious, well prepared and served by charming and svelte South Korean and Taiwanese and Singaporean waitresses like Hui Xuan. I had two helpings of the Beef Tenderloin with Creamed SAS (Smooth as Silk) served ‘medium’and super-cute Petit pois (baby sugar peas)…and they were PERFECT! Eating is believing. Your Honor, I rest my case…but then, humbly and most respectfully…I am THE Travelling Gourmet TM 🙂 Die dummer Schwachsinnigeren sind ueberall…wahahahah!
