Aroma Truffle’s popularity skyrocketed when the Vice-Chairman of Shinsegae, Mr Jung Yong-jin declared his love for it on Instagram. Shinsegae is Korea’s largest retailer and was originally part of the Samsung Group. “Kayson Tan, co-founder of Aroma Truffle said joyfully, “This led to an explosion of Aroma Truffle in Korea. Aroma Truffle

Aroma Truffle & Co is a Singapore based brand that specializes in truffle based snacks. They began with truffle potato chips and now also have truffle popcorn and truffle hot sauce. They are dedicated to creating and bringing you the most seductive gourmet snacks made from the finest ingredients.

Aroma Truffle’s current best-seller is Black Summer Truffle Potato Chips. The rich and intoxicating truffle flavour and perfume is very seductive. The main ingredient is Black Summer truffles which have an intense woody aroma with flavours of garlic, wild mushroom and earthy hazelnut undertones. The bag of chips also includes herbs and spices such as parsley, dill, garlic and sea salt. Known for its sweet, savoury and salty taste, this is a snack that pairs well with beer and wine. I like to sprinkle the chips on top of salads. Olive oil and palm oil is used to make the chips. I would have preferred no palm oil.

The Honey Dijon Chips are very tasty with a really powerful perfume and the mild spicy mustard flavour comes through. There is also some sweetness from the honey but not too much.

The Aroma Truffle Parmesan chips is also very tasty. Try too the spicy Black Truffle Hot Sauce on your food to jazz things up!

The super spicy Mala Truffle chips can make your tongue numb! The Herb Infused Truffle Oil is also excellent on salads and to drizzle on your tenderloin steak.

The Travelling Gourmet TM says, “Keep calm and eat Aroma Truffle chips!”
